Recycling is good for the health of our community! The members of the Sunshine Club are delighted to announce that this year, they were able to give financial donations to two very worthy organizations: Carol's Kitchen and The Ronald McDonald House. Kudos to those of you in the Solera community for your recycling efforts. Keep up the good work! Please remember that the recycling of all plastic water bottles, juice, and tea bottles as well as all aluminum cans (for which you paid the redemption fee) is continuing as usual. Each recyclable item must be clearly imprinted on its label or side with the words CA-CRV or CA CASH REFUND. We would love to have you join our friendly, lively group of residents who believe in putting "Sunshine" back in our lives by sending cards and flowers to residents who are sick, or have experienced a death in the immediate family. Our Club meets on the third Wednesday of every month at 2 pm in the Arts & Crafts Room. If you have any questions about our Club or its activities, please contact Judy Charlick at (951) 769-6465. As members of the Sunshine Club, we get contacted to send cards, flowers, or even visit someone who needs a little cheering up. We want you to know we care about you in our community. If you would like us to contact someone, please fill out a Sunshine Club Request Slip at the Clubhouse front desk. You may also email a request with the recipient's name, address, and phone as well as the reason for contact. Let us know if you'd like us to send a card or have us schedule a visit or phone call. Email these requests to jbcharlick@ roadrunner.com or drop them off at the Clubhouse. SUNSHINE CLUB | LIFE IN SOLERA | APRIL 2022 | 31
