April showers us with opportunities to get out and enjoy
ourselves — enjoying music, participating in Shred Day, taking in
the Car Show, and going to lots of weddings! The morning walks
are going to be so pretty once spring has sprung. It seems we are
back to business as usual and the calendar shows it. The Easter Bunny is going to visit
twice this month so bring those grandkids out to say hello and snap a cute picture. He will
be here for the second Sunday brunch and Easter Sunday Brunch. There is no charge to
visit the Easter Bunny as it is a treat from the Association.
I will need a few volunteers for Shred Day on April 30 from 8 to 11 am. You need to be
able to lift 40 lbs. It is three hours of steady work putting the boxes into the receptacle.
I will accept your help for the full time or half the time. Contact me at tracie.rodgers@
fsresidential.com.
Lastly, I want to share about an annual event in our city that is dear to my heart — The
Ramona Outdoor Play. Ramona is the longest running outdoor play in North America
and will be presenting its 99th season. My husband and son are working mostly in the
background this year, but I look forward to seeing my son make a couple scenes. You can
read more about it at Ramonabowl.com.
