12 | THE COLONY NEWS | APRIL 2022 | HOA NEWS Recommended Rule Revisions At the Board of Directors Regular Session on Feb. 17, 2022, the Board recommended the following rule revisions for 30-Day member comment, to be voted on at the Regular Session in May 2022. The affected rules are printed below. Text that is removed will be indicated with a strike-through. All new information is in bold and underlined. Non-Compliance of Any Rule Not Specified. Failure to comply with any Rules and Regulations or CC&Rs not specifically listed below. Disorderly Conduct Failure to comply with disorderly conduct Rules and Regulations. Damage to Association Property Failure to Close Garage Door (Sunset to Sunrise) During the hours from sunset to sunrise, garage doors are to remain closed except for normal ingress and egress. Exception: Garage doors may be kept open from sunrise to sunset if a resident is working in and out of the garage, but only for a maximum of 4 consecutive hours. Written warning. Immediate ejection from common areas; $50 fine and/ or suspension of privileges for two (2) months. Ejection from common areas; $50 fine and 30-day suspension of privileges. $50 fine and repair costs. $50 fine,cost of repair, a 30-day suspension of privileges, and cost of legal action if necessary. Fourth occasion within a 12-month period of January 1st to December 31st, $50 fine. 3 separate incidents within a 12-month period of January 1st to December 31st of each year. Warning $25 fine per day for 10 days; $35 fine per day for the following 10 days. Immediate ejection from common areas; $100 fine and/or suspension of privileges for six (6) months. Ejection from common areas; $100 fine and 30-day suspension of privileges. $100 fine, repair costs, and cost of legal action. $100 fine, cost of repair, a 30-day suspension of privileges, and cost of legal action if necessary. Fifth occasion within a 12-month period of January 1st to December 31st, $100 fine. 4th incident within a 12-month period of January 1st to December 31st of each year. $25 fine $50 per day and possible suspension of community privileges. $50 fine and possible 30-Day suspension of privileges. Immediate ejection from common areas; $150 fine and/or suspension of privileges for one (1) year. Ejection from common areas; $100 fine and 30-day suspension of privileges. $150 fine, repair costs, legal action, and possible suspension of community privileges. $150 fine, cost of repair, a 30- day suspension of privileges, and cost of legal action if necessary.
