CLUB NEWS | THE COLONY NEWS | APRIL 2022 | 33 Jack & Jill Ladies Golf February's tournament provided 48 golfers vying for first place position in the A & B FORMAT competition. Flight play is always a spirited and hotly contested event. The weather could not have been better with 50° at tee time and 80° at tournament completion. We had two new players join our J&J family, Gary Wilson and Sunny Park, and both were partnered with winning teams. Our next contest is Thursday, April 14 and will be our most popular venue, "Pick Your Own Foursome." As with all Jack and Jill events, you DO NOT have to be a member of either the Men's or Women's Golf Clubs to play. Just pick up your sticks and join us for the fun and friendly competition. We also had our first eclectic play day, with the second eclectic play the following week. We will have our Club Championship and our annual pizza party this month. With spring coming, it should be perfect golfing weather. We have lots of fun tournaments weekly, with both the 18- hole and 9-hole ladies. We will be teeing off at 8 am from April through June.
