FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | MAY 2022 7 By Cindy Graves I'm getting so excited for The Performing Arts Club's first live show since before the pandemic, A Toast to the Tonys on May 6 and 7. Hopefully by the time you read this reminder, there will still be tickets available. There is a show on Friday night and Saturday at 6:30 pm in The Lodge Lobby. It's theater-style seating so don't plan on bringing dinner in. The Kopper Kettle is going to have an amazingly clever dinner offering that night, so why not make it dinner and a show? It'll be great. I'll see you there. The Amphitheater Concert Series is back and I can't wait for the first one! The opening band is a group named The Silverados. They are a fun country band that will get us hootin' and hollerin' for more. Be sure to bring your own lawn chairs down to the Amphitheater, making note that you can't put them down there before 10 am on the day of the event. Feel free to bring snacks and drinks, but be sure there are no glass containers. It's going to be the musical evening we've all been waiting for. Does everyone remember Chip, the youngest son on the classic TV show My Three Sons? Well Stanley Livingston, the guy who played that cute kid, is a resident here in Four Seasons. He has had a fascinating life and will tell us all about it during an interesting presentation on Friday, May 20 at 7 pm in The Lodge Ballroom. Everyone is invited and there is no cost to attend. For all of you singers, Karaoke will be on May 21 this month at 5 pm in The Lodge Ballroom. Bring a favorite song to sing or come and listen to your talented neighbors. You are welcome to bring in your food of choice and your favorite beverages. It's a fun night to hang out with friends. Dancers, this is for you! The Westbrooks are hosting a Disco Dance Night and all of you are invited. It will take place in The Lodge Ballroom on Friday, May 27 at 6 pm. Get your dancing shoes on, grab a buddy and cruise on down for some fun and frolic. Why not dress in your best disco outfit and really set the mood? There is no charge for admittance. Finally, fingers crossed, after having to cancel this event twice due to inclement weather, we are hoping to have the new Veterans Park Dedication on this Memorial Day, Monday, May 30 at 10 am. We will be having a ribbon cutting, a little ceremony, and a small reception up at The Summit immediately following the Veterans Park dedication. Please come and join us as we honor our wonderful resident Veterans and their families. Have a great May! Activities Director Corner Activities Director Corner
