We are knitters, crocheters, weavers, and cross stitchers. Beginners are welcome. On the second Monday of each month we do free yarn and supply exchange. Sun Lakes Quilters Sew What? Club Our March birthday celebration was quite the festive affair. Terry Foster bought St. Patrick's Day hats that lit up for each of us to wear while we dined. Our card making project was well attended and we had so much fun working side by side on these cards, using new (to us) supplies and techniques. Thanks to Debbie Budde for introducing us to her friend from Stampin' Up, Judy Westcott. Judy provided all of us with everything we needed to complete four cards. She also made each of us an adorable mini-Easter Basket with candies to take home. It was a fun day indeed. We are now in the merry month of May. As of this writing, I'm not sure what our next Make 'n Take project will be, but it's sure to delight us all. This is such an enjoyable addition to our crafting group meetings and something we anxiously await each month. The schedule to meet for May is as follows: Tues., May 3, and Mondays, May 16, 23, and 30. Memorial Day is the 30th, so if you have no plans for the holiday weekend, we will be there crafting as usual. Meetings are from 1 to 3 pm in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room. The May birthday luncheon celebration will be on Thurs,. May 12, unless otherwise noted. Watch your inbox for details.
