Geneva is survived by her two daughters Linda Starner and her husband Matt, Laurie Vartanian and her husband John. Survived further is three grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, one sister, nieces, nephews and many long time friends. Geneva met her first husband Richard Hill at Lynwood High School; they were married in 1950 and settled down in Bellflower, California to raise their three children, Danny, Linda and Laurie. Danny went home too soon to be with his Lord in 2016. Assuredly Geneva is happily sharing fellowship with her son who she sorely missed. Geneva moved to Sun Lakes in 1994, where she met her second husband Bill Doss, who passed away in July 2013. Geneva was a very devoted mother and grandmother. She was a superb employee, finally retiring at the age of 74. Geneva loved caring for her home, and everything she did was with beauty and class. She adored babies, relished times with her family, gardening and playing practical jokes, especially on her grandchildren. Her humor was known by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Geneva had a beautiful smile that graced her lips often. It was a smile that would light up a room. Geneva led a long and full life. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends, but leaves with them many cherished memories to tuck away and look back on when they desire to have her near.
