| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | JUNE 2022 | 31 Corn hole We are in the process of getting Board approval to form a Cornhole Club. We have 26 couples and 13 singles expressing interest in our project. Our goal is to have fun, socialize, and toss that bag in the hole. Contact Beth Flanagan at (858) 334-9779 or bflana603@gmail.com for additional information. Let's play Bocce, it's the words we shout out on Sunday to get the games started, and the teams have learned quickly. It's always a little slow in the beginning, but with little patience, everyone seems to have fun. We all like to win but there will also be some losers, and that is not fun. Be kind, and try just a little harder the next time. I try and practice what I preach and it is not easy but remember bocce will come and go, but our friends and neighbors will still be here. We had one team drop out because they had other commitments so that threw off the 3 pm schedule a little bit, but Orville has corrected the problem and we all still get a chance to play our fair share of games for this season. Because you are reading this article written in May to be published in June, we are more than half done with the season. It won't be long and we will be getting ready for the Championship game scheduled for July 10. How quick the weeks pass when you are having fun. Don't worry, we all get to celebrate at the Bocce Banquet even if you did not win. That will be lots of fun also. ~ Ross Brunetto, Bocce Chairperson (951) 926-8295 Bocce Some of our tennis ladies put down their racquets and picked up forks and wine glasses to bid Barb Jorgenson farewell as she and husband Dennis head back to Canada in late April. John Tarabochia came by to make sure we ladies had everything we needed. Our tennis family is active, and friendly. If you are looking for a fun way to exercise and enjoy folks, tennis might be your game. Come by the courts any morning to find out more.
