The fourth Monday of each month at 2 pm, you will find a group of women, "having fun — being positive — staying energized — and giving back to the community!" You will hear much laughter coming from this Four Seasons sisterhood. Circle your calendar so you won't miss the meeting. President Debbie Foster welcomes telephone calls to answer any questions you have about our group. She is doing a fabulous job organizing activities and keeping us excited. Keep her number handy (805) 406-6581 if you have a question. Sheryl Cooley has done a great job as our liaison for Valley Restart. This is a temporary, short-term shelter. She has assuaged our need to "fix it up!" We will continue to help with their current needs. This month they asked for cereal, bowls and spoons. Many churches in our area cook and serve Valley Restart each month. About three miles from our back gate is the So Cal Mini Horse Sanctuary. Jeanne Oliver is the founder and president. This was formed about a decade ago with Jeanne and her three boys. There is so much love and volunteers at the sanctuary. High school kids come after class and help wherever they are needed. Mini's are often given as presents to children. They are cute at first, then neglected, abused or taken to auction. Their focus is to rescue mini's and give them the second chance they all deserve. We had a ball there, learning so much about the care they need, and, yes, we did get to pet many of them. I hope you enjoy the pictures. It would be a great day with the grandchildren! Our outing was followed by lunch at Rocking K restaurant. Lucille Gould's outing for Nana's Tea on May 17 had 20 members excited about attending. We will have a picture in the next Herald. We try to offer something for everyone. You choose what sounds good to you to attend. On May 10, we had a lunch and went to a movie in San Jacinto. On our calendar with a tentative date of June 7 is a trip to Skydive Perris with lunch at the Bombshelter Restaurant. Patsy Racine closed our meeting with another fun game! Members of our club can join us on our outings. To be a member you pay your yearly dues and come to our monthly meetings when possible. Until next month. ~ Cookie FS Ladies Club 22 22 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | JUNE 2022 | | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | JUNE 2022 | WIT (Women In Touch) These ladies share a common bond – the loss of the love of their life. The dinner meeting and social interaction helps with rekindling old friendships as well as new. The WIT Team gathers once a month in the Ballroom for a dinner meeting. Dinner orders are called into the Bistro between 2 and 4 pm. When they gather at 5 pm, their orders are already being prepared, and are ready for delivery to each attendee. We are a support group; this is your invitation to join us and be part of the WIT Team here in Four Seasons. If you have questions regarding WIT, please contact Brenda Beers at (951) 306-6670 or Jeanne Lincoln at (951) 765-7112. Members enjoy our May dinner meeting
