Golf Club
At our April meeting, we introduced the new treasurer, Mary
LaForte, and announced the Summer Lanai Party on July 13. The
party's theme is Green Grass Growing. The event will be a dinner
dance with band or DJ; cost will be $25 per person; BYOB; catered
by Red Tail.
No date has been set for the golf opening; hopefully, we will
be hitting our links early this summer. The HOA will send out an
announcement about when we can resume play.
For now, the only game in town is Touring Amateurs. The first
tournament of the year took place at Oaks North on Mon., April 18.
120 golfers teed it up that day, including these lucky folks: Bruce
Barnum made a hole in one on hole #1 of the South Course. Closest
to the pin winners were Mary Kasalis, Judy Fry, Mike Ross, and Mike
Stansell. The only magic circle winner was Bernie Alfonso. Must
have been an especially small circle that day! Congratulations to
them and to all the other money makers that day. The upcoming
Touring Amateurs are May 16 at Welks and June 22 at St. Marks.

Inspiration Hill
As we walk the trail at Inspiration Hill, we are always impressed by the varied community inspirations as expressed on the Donor Bricks.
The trail begins by honoring our pioneer OHCC Founders, and continues with those who so bravely served us. There are bricks honoring
family members, beloved pets, and favorite universities.
What is your inspiration? The HOA continues to take orders for your own personalized bricks. Fill out an order form at the HOA office, and
include a check for $75. Your inspiration brick will help line the trail to the top of the hill!
