Art Room
Now that the COVID pandemic seems to be waning, and we are
welcomed to the Clubhouse again, we encourage you to come to the
Art Studio and to the display space just to the right of the Studio
and enjoy the current exhibit of paintings. We feature the artistic
creativity of Shellie Bean, Cindi DeWeese, Betty Anne Kreutziger,
Bonnie Krichbaum, Sarah Kolb, and Karin Leszinski. Judy Harris
and Lainy Vinikow are always impressed by the artwork that our
residents bring to share, and we are so often puzzled how to actually
hang the variety of paintings in a pleasing way. Yet, in spite of the
differences in subject matter, mediums, framing, and sizes of the
works, somehow, we seem able to arrange the paintings on the slat
board in a complementary display arrangement… not because of
our own ability but because each painting is so very outstanding!
Again, we are full of praise for the work of our artists and hope
that you will enjoy the display and, perhaps, if you happen to see the
artists, pass along your appreciation for their work and participation.
In July, the Papercrafters will post their own exhibit, featuring their
amazing, detailed work that highlights color, shape and messages. Be
sure to watch for it!
