4 | OHCC LIVING | JUNE 2022 | • Approved a contract with ProTec Building Services to fence the butterfly sanctuary at a cost not to exceed $5,000 • Approved the purchase of new camera tripods for the Clubhouse in an amount not to exceed $4,000 • Approved the recommendation of the Community Service Committee to schedule a round-trip, one-time shuttle to the San Diego County Fair on Wednesday, June 15 to be provided through No Vacancy Transport • Approved the recommendation of the Community Service Committee to install a slat board wall section in the Clubhouse Galleria subject to comment from the Community Image and Marketing Committee • Waived enforcement of an architectural rule regarding gate height pending the outcome of the related proposed new rule The Board met in executive session on May 16 to discuss contract, legal and disciplinary matters and review delinquencies and took the following actions: • Approved the Minutes of executive session meetings on March 7, 14 and April 18 • Assessed two fines of $75 for failure to stop at a STOP sign and one fine of $35 for unauthorized driveway parking • Met for the second time with Securitas officials regarding amending the current contract • Appointed California Elections Company as the Inspector of Elections and contracted with them to conduct the election and tabulation processes in the approximate amount of $9,400 depending on the actual volume of ballots submitted • Authorized the establishment of an electronic payment mechanism (credit or debit card) for non-assessment payments made at the HOA office • Approved in part a request for reimbursement for tree root damage to a homeowner wall • Reviewed the underlying details of delinquencies to be considered at the Regular Meeting on May 19. We want to remind you that the monitoring of the hard-wired Emergency Monitoring System will be discontinued on March 31, 2023 and that there will be vendors at the Health and Safety Fair on June 4 who can explain the operation of more modern and capable systems. We also want to remind you that you will be receiving ballots in mid-July for the election of Directors for two-year terms beginning with the Annual Meeting on August 18.
