34 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JUNE 2022 I was attempting to replace the canopy on my patio umbrella and struggling mightily, when a kind gentleman named Rick, who was riding by on his bicycle, asked if I needed help… he turned around and came to my rescue. At the same time a lovely lady named Cindy walked past and offered to help also. Not only did they get it all put together, they helped place it in the base and it looks terrific! Thank you to the kind neighbors of Four Seasons for coming to my aid. I couldn't have done it without your help. ~ Donna Pfeiffer Jasper - Thank you for following through on a new pencil sharpener for the Arts & Crafts Room. Good job! ~ Anonymous Gratitude for Annette who works at The Summit often. She is always pleasant when greeting residents and goes above and beyond in helping everyone while being very professional. She takes the bocce balls and puts them outside for us to play and she always has a key ready for a locker. She is much appreciated and we are very lucky to have her working for Four Seasons. ~ Marty Rotman To the Landscape Committee for keeping our community always looking so lovely and neatly manicured. ~ Anonymous We just want to thank Susan Youel as she gives up her valuable time to teach music and be involved for the enjoyment of others. ~ Anonymous The Landscape Committee is doing exceptional work! ~ Anonymous To the entire staff of Four Seasons - they are always helpful and friendly. ~ Anonymous If you have seen an act of kindness or have received one, please share with the community. Let's spread gratitude! Email your gratitude to fourseasonsnews@yahoo.com or go to The Lodge Lobby and fill out a gratitude note and put in the box marked "The Box of Gratitude." Thank you. Expressing Gratitude Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said, "Everybody can be great because anybody can serve…" On April 23, 10 Four Seasons residents were great. They served as volunteers at Habitat for Humanity San Gorgonio Pass Area's 18th Annual Jim Heslop Memorial Golf Tournament. These dedicated individuals arrived early in the morning to work their respective shifts at Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon. Habitat is grateful for their gift of time. They were amazing volunteers, working graciously and diligently performing their assigned tasks. They were punctual, flexible, and friendly! Habitat's Vision is a world where everyone has a decent place to live and, with the help of these residents, the world will be a better place for deserving Pass residents. Thank you, Four Seasons volunteers; we look forward to partnering with you in the future. If you would like to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity San Gorgonio Pass Area, please call our office at (951) 769-7600 or visit our website at www.habitatsghpa.org and click on the Volunteer Now tab for further instructions.
