FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JUNE 2022 11
By Jerry Monahan, Board President
The most important information to note at this time is that the
Pass Action Group (PAG) filed a Petition for Writ of Mandate. The
lawsuit against the city was filed on Monday, April 18, in Riverside
Superior Court. The Honorable Superior Court Judge Sunshine Sykes
has been assigned to the case. A copy of the mandate is available for
review on the PAG Facebook page The Pass Area Action Group.
The PAG will be holding a Town Hall meeting on Sunday, June 5
at 2 pm in the Sun Lakes Ballroom. The case will be discussed in
this meeting and discussion of raising funds for legal and ancillary
needs is planned. All Four Seasons residents are invited; please put
the date and time on your calendar. The Daily Report will have a
reminder as the date gets close. The PAG has arranged entry for Four
Seasons residents at the main gate off of Sun Lakes Blvd. to attend
this important Town Hall meeting. Be sure to arrive early as there will
be a line to enter the community.
As reported in last month's Breeze article, AB 2840 is still in
committee. If passed by the California Legislature and California
Senate, it would affect warehouses over 100,000 square feet. This is
an important item because the Banning Point Warehouse Project is
over 600,000 square feet and it would likely be impacted by AB 2840
if passed.
Please consider donating to the Pass Action Group. Checks can be
made payable to the Pass Action Group and sent to their Treasurer
Jeannie Lloyd at 4832 Crenshaw Circle, Banning, California.
Online donations can be accepted via www.givebutter.com/

The PAG Steering Committee has expressed a sincere thank you
for all the support received from Four Seasons, Sun Lakes, and the
surrounding communities.
