Quilting Enthusiasts Our May meeting had another new member join us. Her name is Glenda Timms and she recently moved to Four Seasons. We welcome her with open arms. Sally Peterson showed us a quilt that she made for her grandson for his sixth birthday. All of us were in awe of her beautiful quilt. Mary Moody-Cox showed us a new quilt that she had designed for Island Batik, called Indian Summer. Jeri Sorenson showed us a beautiful wall hanging that she had created, but you will have to wait until the quilt show to see it! The plans for the quilt show are progressing. I am asking that if you have old family quilts you would like to share with other quilters I invite you to share them with us at the Sept. 10 quilt show. Our next meeting will be June 2 at 1 pm. Ceramics Class has something for the novice crafter looking for a new hobby, or someone who has experience and wants to create unique designs or pieces for friends and family. In addition to individual projects, we offer class projects throughout the year to teach new techniques. Come and join in the fun; drop by the Arts & Crafts Room to see our monthly ceramics class schedule and learn more about our upcoming class projects. We meet Wednesdays from 1 to 4 pm.
