FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JUNE 2022 57
The diorama was made by Kelly Vucinic for which she won first
place in a contest held in the Breeze. The Peeps depict that even Peep
bunnies can play Pickleball!
Kelly moved to Four Seasons in October, 2019, from Fountain
Valley, Calif. She worked for the Costa Mesa Police Department for
28 years and after she retired she worked at Angel Stadium.
Kelly is fairly new to Pickleball. She was a tennis player and states
that, ''there is a lot a of court to cover in tennis as we get older," so she
decided to give Pickleball a try while still living in Orange County but
did not really start playing regularly until she moved to Four Seasons.
"We have a great club and I love all the people. It's a great way to
spend the mornings."
Kelly is now in charge of planning tournaments and events, a
position that was held by Lynn Rae Dupree for many years. I would
like to thank Lynn Rae for all the creativity and time she put into the
fun tournaments and events she organized.
Be on the look out for events coming your way over the next year!
The mornings are cool and the evenings are beautiful for playing
Pickleball. So, dust off your tennis court shoes and come on out and
join us. We have beginner classes as well as regular play time. ~

Pickleball
Our summer session continues meeting Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 11 am to 1 pm.
Many residents have asked about the level of volleyball "skill" necessary to participate in our games. The
answer is absolutely none! We play for a little low-impact exercise and a lot of fun. No experience necessary,
anyone can play and we look forward to welcoming you to our group. ~ Mel Harkin, odeegos@yahoo.com
