Do you like to sing? Join our Barbershop Chorus! Sheet music and learning materials are furnished to help even the novice enjoy the experience. You can sing in this men's chorus or enjoy a quartet experience with three other guys. We all have a song in our hearts waiting to come out. Richard's book inspired me to make a list of some pop and rock songs that were written with the same title as a famous book. We will be having our general meeting on Thurs., June 16, at 1 pm in the South Clubhouse. Membership is $10 or $15 per couple. Bring information about your acts (whatcha gonna do?) your music, and/or any questions you may have. Also, bring NEW Members, too! Rehearsals will be starting in August. Mark your calendar now for Sept. 20, Oct. 1, and Oct. 2. Karaoke Group Chorale The Chorale of Sun Lakes is open to membership for any Sun Lakes resident. The Chorale has five sections: Sopranos, Altos, Tenors, Basses, and Baritones. Practice sessions are held on Monday from 9:30 am to 12:15 pm. Prior to each concert, additional practices for individual sections are held. Prospective members are welcome to join us in the South Clubhouse on Aug. 13 for our Chorale picnic, and Sept. 9 for our Sing- a-long potluck. Watch Lifestyles for more information. New members can join at our sign ups on Mon., Sept. 12 in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room. Our 2022 Holiday Concert Series will be held on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 2 and 3 at 7 pm, and Sun., Dec. 4 at 3 pm.
