12 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JULY 2022
DID YOU KNOW homeowner volunteers staff the
Architectural Review Committee (ARC)? These volunteers spend a
couple of hours each month reviewing applications and another hour
or so checking completed projects to ensure the work was done as
approved. All the current members find this volunteer time to be
enjoyable and fulfilling. ARC is currently looking for a couple of new
members. The only requirement is that the members are willing to
consider every application fairly and apply the current standards.
Did you know that your help is needed AND you will have an exciting
time volunteering on the committee?
DID YOU KNOW when a club, committee, or group reserves
a room, the meetings are open to all residents or are private, such as
some Board meetings? Due to space limitations some groups must
meet in one of the three sections of the Ballroom. Some groups even
prefer a quiet area. Let's be respectful of those meetings until we are
sure they are open to the public.
DID YOU KNOW there are rules that apply when grilling at
our facilities this summer? Here are some need-to-know guidelines:
All of our grills are available on a first come, first served basis. No
reservations can be made. Simply check out a grilling station at the
front desk of The Lodge, The Courts, or The Summit. The front desk
attendant will provide you with an inspection form that will review
the existing and expected conditions of the grill area. The attendant
will then assist you in lighting the grill (if needed). When you're
done cooking and cleaning your grill area, please notify the attendant
at the front desk so that they can inspect and close out your time
with that station. No glass is allowed in the grill areas. Please come
prepared to provide your party with plastic/paper goods. No outside
grills, barbecues, or cooking devices are permitted. If children are in
the grill area, they must be supervised by an adult at all times.
