Recreation Advisory
Well, we're at the seven month mark of 2022. Where has the time
gone? As I read the June issue of our beautiful Lifestyles Magazine,
I could predict that our residents are once again going to be on the
go! It is packed with recreation events and club events. We are
definitely a busy community. There are so many great things to do
to get ourselves out of the house. Just pick one! Try it out. If it isn't
for you, try another one. Or join them all and then decide which
ones you love. Participate in those activities or club. You will gain
new friends, new activities and best of all, discover the best of Sun
Lakes. Volunteer! Volunteers are always needed for every advisory
committee, club committee and activities that happen here in Sun
Lakes. You will learn much more about your community. Come
up to the Main Clubhouse reception desk. There is a wealth of
information right there in the racks with lots of flyers. You are sure to
find something that piques your interest. Volunteer for an advisory
committee, find information on trips, special events and more. Sun
Lakes has many layers to enrich our lives. Be brave. Step out! Life in

Library Advisory
Shelving volunteers are needed for two half-hour shifts per month. If you're
interested, please call John Hasha at (951) 267-1901. We are trying to determine
if audio books are still being used as so many vehicles no longer have CD drives. If
you want the library to stock audio books, please let us know at the above number.
We have many new westerns in addition to mysteries/thrillers, romances, non-
fiction, large-print, and audio books. So when you want to read or listen to a good
book, come and browse our collections or see the new books first by volunteering
to shelve occasionally!
