| LIFE IN SOLERA | JULY 2022 | 5 Summer is here and the temperatures are hot. Many residents use the pool and spa during these hot weather months. Please remember to read and follow our rules so everyone can relax, cool down, and enjoy the pool. Children under the age of 16 are not allowed in the spa. Children under the age of 16 are allowed to swim between 10 am and 2 pm only. A resident must be in the pool area when an invited guest is present. Residents with young visitors must remember running, diving, loud yelling, cannon balls, etc. are not permitted in order to allow everyone a relaxing and enjoyable time at the pool. Remember there is no lifeguard on duty. We had our election of Board in May. The new Board took office on June 15. The new officers begin a two-year term, while the other three members begin serving the second year of their term. As new residents, we encourage you to attend Board meetings which are held the third Wednesday of every month at 6:30 pm. The agendas are posted on the three bulletin boards and on our website. The Board meetings allow Open Forums for members to talk on non-agenda items, and again on various agenda items after Board discussions. This is a good place to state your opinions and suggestions. Another way to voice your opinions and suggestions is message to management. These messages go automatically to key staff members and all Board members. Solera is your community, and your involvement is appreciated. We would like to welcome Dale Van Camp to our Welcome Committee. She is a long-time resident of Solera. We have a few vacancies and will be happy to accept Volunteer Interest forms from homeowners. If you have any questions, please contact Marcia Casem at mac-extra@msn.com.
