Saturday Summer Nights Saturdays, 5:30 to 9:30 pm in the Patio Area Bring your beverages and snacks and enjoy the music and beautiful weather with your friends and neighbors Saturday nights on the Patio. Event will be canceled when conflicting with entertainment in the Auditorium. July 4th Party & BBQ We still have tickets available for the July 4th BBQ. We will enjoy an evening under the stars featuring live music from American Made Band, dancing, and a fabulous barbecue of chicken, ribs and all the fixins. BYOB. Reminder: NO glass containers of any kind are allowed in the pool area. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased by check in the Activities Office. Summer Nights Dance Party Saturday, July 23, doors open at 6:30 pm It is time to get down, with our favorite DJ! DJ Nate will be playing all your favorite dance hits from Bruno Mars to Elvis Presley. Join us in the Auditorium for a great night! Tables will be assigned, and tickets are $10 per person payable to The Colony HOA. Tribute to our Veterans Luncheon Saturday, July 30, 11:30 am - 2 pm Join us for a special tribute luncheon as 33-year Colony resident Fay Bishop shares her family's history of her 18th century Patriot. Fay is a member of the Luiseño Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution. Tickets are $25 per person and includes lunch and one drink ticket. Beer and wine are available for purchase. There will be great raffle prizes and you can also look forward to the National Anthem being sung by the State's Red, White and Blue Contest winner, a Color Guard presentation and an Invocation. Benefits from this luncheon will support local Veterans and military families. For more than five decades, the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 4089 alongside its Auxiliary has continued to serve the Temecula and Murrieta communities to provide various support programs to bring needed services, information and assistance to Veterans, active-duty military and their families. Tickets are available in the Activities Office, with checks payable to the Colony HOA. If you are a Veteran, please note your branch of service and bring a photo. Rock out with classic buzz Saturday, Aug. 6, doors open at 6:30 pm As a special addition to Colony Summer Nights, we would like to welcome back one of our favorite classic style rock bands, Classic Buzz. This group can be found performing at the downtown Temecula Wine Garden and several wineries in Temecula. Tickets are $10 per person and there will be assigned Auditorium seating, with the dance floor open to bust a move! Show is from 7 to 10 pm. Dr. p & the reno all stars Saturday, Aug. 27, 6 pm Dr. P & the Reno All-Stars, with Bobby Tocco on drums, Phil Prunier on guitars, and Dr. P on keyboards, are bringing their collective 105 years of musical experience to The Colony for one night! They have performed on Hawaiian Windjammer Cruises, casino cabarets, casino headliner rooms and world class concert venues, including shows with Frank Sinatra and Foster Brooks. They also performed on the Grand Ole Opry stage with Dolly Parton, Porter Wagner, Loretta Lynn, Merle Haggard, Tammy Wynette, Conway Twitty, and Minnie Pearl, and have opened for Elvis Costello, Pat Travers Band, George Michael and Eric Burdon, to name a few! They all have performed regularly at Atlantis, Peppermill, Pala, Pauma, Boomtown, Silver Legacy, Circus Circus, Red Lion, Rainbow Room, and Carson Nugget casinos. It's going to be a Blues & Southern Rock night to remember! Get your boogie shoes on and join us in the Auditorium. This event is FREE! Sunday, July 31, 3 pm. In the mood for music? Join us in the Lounge for an afternoon with a magical musical touch. Leila Rose will be singing, playing the piano, and making musical memories.
