So, it must be true!
By Paul Bradstreet, Resident
When I began writing this article, we had just
celebrated Memorial Day at a wonderful event
sponsored by the Veterans and Friends Club. Residents
gathered together to pay tribute to those who paid
the ultimate sacrifice in support of our freedom. This
reminded me again of how grateful I am for those who
served in our armed forces. Being grateful and giving
thanks should be an ongoing experience.
It occurred to me that we should also be grateful
for the many volunteers that make our community
such a special place in which to live, starting with the
officers and volunteers of the Veterans and Friends
Club. Solera Diamond Valley is indebted to all these
individuals.
Every time I turn around, another group is sharing
their time and talents. Two weeks back, I was
privileged to assist at the Lady's High Tea. Eight groups
of high society women joined together to compete
and socialize over a cup of tea and a unique luncheon.
Wow! Every one of the decorated tables were exquisite.
Thank you to Terri and all of her excellent volunteers
who made this experience so incredible.
Perhaps we should take a minute each day to thank
a fellow resident for their part in making Solera
Diamond Valley one amazing place to live.
