26 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | AUGUST 2022
The Dog Days of summer are upon us!
Keeping ourselves, and our pooches, cool
and hydrated is of prime importance during
these hot summer days. That's why people
are not seeing many dogs in the Corral
during the day. It's hot out there! With the
Canine Corral fob gate accessible from 7 am
until dusk, many members are opting for
early morning play times. Several members
are planning to be there on Saturday and
Sunday at 7 am, while some mid-week people
may like a 7 am Wednesday. Please dial in to
our Facebook Group, https://www.facebook.
com/groups/638146317048512, and start
a play date conversation with other Canine
Corral members. You may also suggest one
on our email, fourseasonscaninecorral@
gmail.com.
Whatever play time and day you select,
please remember to bring water for your dog
and yourself. We might also suggest you not
feed your pet right before your play time or
immediately after returning home. Let them
settle down and cool off a bit before offering
them their breakfast or dinner, as too much,
too fast may upset some tummies.
How many of you might be interested in
a Social Event for the human members of
the Canine Corral? Is anyone interested in
learning about the Corral and all the fun we
have? Sometime in the fall we would like to
sponsor a human-only "Yappy Hour" in The
Lodge with some "Wine & Woofs" as well as
"Beer & Barks" (with soft drinks, of course,
for those who prefer).
Let's spread the word about our wonderful
Canine Corral! This is a members-only
off-leash area, and we are all comfortable
knowing that each and every dog in
the Corral is healthy and current on all
vaccinations. Our membership is now $40
for your initial enrollment and $30 for each
year after that. Remember, the Canine Corral
is totally self-funded and your fees keep the
Corral nicely maintained. ~ Teri DiMarino,
