52 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | AUGUST 2022 We completed our study of the Gospel of John in mid-July. This has been such a wonderful look at the life and teachings of John the Beloved. Throughout this amazing book, we learned of his great love for Jesus Christ and His teachings. This was one of the best studies we've enjoyed. From the Gospel of John we turned to 1 John, 2 John and 3 John, the epistles or letters that were also written by this devout disciple of Christ. These letters were written when John was in his mid-90s and were devoted to clarifying and reinforcing the teachings and incarnation of Jesus Christ as well as reinforcing core Christian beliefs. John was well-versed in teaching about Christ and preserving his firsthand knowledge and experiences for us to study today. We will complete the focus on John the Beloved by the end of August. We will then launch into a study of the Book of Proverbs which provides God's detailed instructions for His people to deal successfully with the practical affairs of everyday life and how to relate to God, parents, children, neighbors, and government. It contains a collection of poetry, parables, questions, short stories and wise maxims, using common sense and divine perspective necessary to handle life's challenges. All of you amazing Four Seasons ladies are hereby invited to join this wonderful group of beautiful women. We meet every Friday at 10:30 am in The Lodge Game Room. This is a non-denominational study, and all versions of the Bible are accepted. Hope to see you there! ~ Eileen Gilbert-Antoine, (951) 922-6829 or egcellent@ msn.com "Believeā¦" Women's Bible Study Bereavement Group The last couple of years have been very difficult for many people. Covid forced us into isolation and for some there were losses of loved ones. We know there are some in Four Seasons who have experienced a loss of someone or something. According to Webster's Dictionary loss is "an instance of losing someone or something" and "the partial or complete deterioration or absence of a physical capability or function." We are here to help one navigate the grieving process with the loss or impending loss of a loved one as well as the physical changes that occur as we age. It helps to share what is happening with others who may have or may be undergoing similar issues. It can be difficult to go to a group and share feelings that are so deep and can be so upsetting. However, we are a group of supportive, caring people. Please feel free to join us on Mondays from 1 to 3 pm in RCN room # 3. For more information, please contact Becky KG at (951) 524-0215 or email at beckykg_1@yahoo.com. All contact is confidential and we look forward to seeing you and helping you through this difficult time. ~ Becky Kotzin-Gustafson
