Looking for a hot date? Pick any day in August; they don't get
much hotter than that! Good thing we're ready to give you plenty of
opportunity to escape from or indulge in the outside heat.
Right off the bat, we are looking forward to another perfect
summer night in our Amphitheater for the next outdoor movie night
on Wednesday, Aug. 3. Beatles: Eight Days a Week will begin promptly
at 8 pm. Bring your folding chairs, blankets, snacks, drinks, and
neighbors for a perfect August kick off.
On Monday, Aug. 8, the Garden Club begins ticket sales for their
September social. Ticket prices and sale hours are to be determined
so be sure to keep on eye on the Activity Report email for updates.
A little later in the week, on Friday, Aug. 12 at 6 pm, we'll gather in
The Lodge Ballroom for Gail Game's to play the exciting party game
Trivial Pursuit. Attendance is free, prizes are available, and laughter
is abundant.
Monday, Aug. 15 at 9 am in The Lodge Ballroom, the Social
Committee will begin sales for their next big show. The woman of 1,001
voices and faces, Bethany Owen, is a multi-talented impressionist who
embodies some of the most famous women in history in her unique
and value-packed stage show. Owen's impressions are so vivid that
you'll swear you're witnessing all of the real icons on stage in a loving
yet hilarious homage to some of the most famous ladies of all time.
Don't wait on these tickets! They're sure to go fast at only $25 per
person. Light sweets and beverages will be available and, as always,
BYOB is happily encouraged. Please note that table-style seating will
be first come, first served and tickets are non-refundable.
Friday, Aug. 19 brings us our much-anticipated Patriotic Bell Choir
& Sing Along in The Lodge Ballroom at 6 pm. These wholesome
and entertaining nights have become a community favorite. With
Karaoke taking place the next day on Saturday, Aug. 20 at 5:30 pm,
you could spend your whole weekend singing!
Veterans, the Four Seasons Photography Club will hold their
Veteran Portrait Project each Friday in August. Get a free portrait
of yourself taken with your military memorabilia. These free photo
