24 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | AUGUST 2022 | This year is flying by! Temperatures keep rising and our activities have slowed to one a month. NEVER FEAR! We have a wonderful event planned for you in August. On the 16th, from 2 to 4 pm, women of Four Seasons are invited to A Day at the Fair! Put your summer clothes on and come play with us. There will be fun games including "corn hole" manned by our FS players. Face painting, balloon art, a petting zoo, (only stuffed animals allowed), a wonderful plant display by our own garden club, quilts displayed by our quilt club and some delightful food. Plus an ice cream cart and lemonade stand. What more could you want? How about raffles with gifts to be won and it's all free! Come and meet the women of our club. Debbie Foster, (805-406-6581), is still our president and welcomes telephone calls regarding any questions about our club. The most asked question is "when do you meet?" The fourth Monday of each month, at 2 pm, in the Ballroom. All Four Seasons Ladies are invited. This month's outing was to the Perris Airport and Bombshelter restaurant. We were so fortunate to see many sky divers! The restaurant food and service were good. We are still planning an in-house activity here at The Lodge on July 14. Francisco will be providing the food and our movie that we selected is Queen Bee. I'll let you know how it was next month. We donate items to Valley Restart every other month. This month they have requested new bath towels along with cleaning supplies and toiletries. Our liaison, Sheryl Cooley, is happy to cart our donations to them. Four Seasons has so many events scheduled at this time that it was decided to keep our activities to one a month until summer is over. On July 19, we have a movie scheduled in San Jacinto. If a movie is picked that you don't care for, go to a different one. We will still meet before or after to discuss our film. At next month's meeting we will start thinking about where to have our Christmas luncheon. Yes, Christmas is right around the corner. Oh my… Members of our club can join us on our outings. No guests please. You can be a one-time guest at our monthly meetings. To be a member you pay your yearly dues and come to our monthly meetings when possible. Until next month, Cookie FS Ladies Club WIT (Women In Touch) These ladies share a common bond – the loss of the love of their life. The dinner meeting and social interaction helps with rekindling old friendships as well as new. The WIT Team gathers once a month in the Ballroom for a dinner meeting. Dinner orders are called into the Bistro between 2 and 4 pm. When they gather at 5 pm, their orders are already being prepared, and are ready for delivery to each attendee. We are a support group; this is your invitation to join us and be part of the WIT Team here in Four Seasons. If you have questions regarding WIT, please contact Brenda Beers at (951) 306-6670 or Jeanne Lincoln at (951) 765-7112. Memories from October 2019
