I want to begin this month's article with gratitude to
our excellent Communications production crew, whose
participation allowed us to cover the recent Patriotic Pups
Parade. Hats off to camera operators Diane Frisbee, Scott
Christiansen and Janet Houde, and to Communications
member "Uncle Sam" George Langham, who filled
announcing duties at our Colony Drive viewing site and
presented the awards at the margarita after-party.
By the time you get this copy of the newsletter, we should
have completed interviewing and editing all six candidates
for this year's Board election. The interviews should be
found online at The Colony's YouTube site.
Finally, despite some delays, we will begin interviewing
long-time residents in August for our Outreach to History
project.
As always, we are looking for more help as we create
these various productions, so if you're interested, apply for
the Communications Committee. Come join one of our
meetings, which is currently on the second Tuesday each
month at 10 am in the Meeting Room.
