Kennel Club Golf Cart Parade: The Colony Kennel Club is seeking Board approval for their 4th Annual Patriotic Pups and Cart Parade. Approved the parade, which includes golf carts and classic cars. Fitness Center – Replacement of the Dumbbell Weight Set and Rack: When the Fitness Center was renovated in 2015-16, all of the fitness equipment was replaced with new equipment with the exception of the dumbbell weight set and rack. The Board opted not to replace the dumbbell set to save money. The current dumbbell set and rack have been in service for 20-plus years and is showing signs of wear and tear. Approved The Dumbell Man proposal to replace the current dumbbell set with a new UMAX premium urethane dumbbell set (10 to 55 lbs./10 weight set) with a Cybex 3-tier short saddle rack and the addition of the UMAX beauty bell set with tower rack (3 to 30 lbs./ 8 weight set) at a total cost of $6,786.63, including equipment, installation and sales tax. Money to come from Reserves. Renew Annual Consulting Contract for Managed Tech & Training Services by Henricksen Experiential (HENXP): Jake Henricksen (HENXP) has been providing technology related services to The Colony for many years. He assists with the audio/ video equipment, livestreaming, website, Communications Committee training/guidance and other similar productions. Approved HENXP contract renewal at an estimated cost of $19,800. Also approved the one-time website redesign services fee of $2,750. The total annual amount approved for the 2022-23 fiscal year is $22,550. Mary Ann Plummer, Resignation from the Emergency Preparedness Committee: Director Joanne Deacon announced the resignation of Mary Ann Plummer. She has served on the committee for 17 years, as well as 13 years on the Board and additional years on the Access Control and Safety Committee. She was thanked her for her service and presented a gift.
