We are organizing an "open tennis Saturday" each Saturday (except the third Saturday) of each month from 7:30 am to 9:30
am. It will be open play with different partners for a couple of hours of fun tennis with your friends. There is no need to sign up,
just come down with your racket. If you can bring a can of balls that would be great, if not, come down anyway. If you have any

Hot summer days bring out the best in pickleball players.
We lucked out on July 2, when the temperatures were
moderate for the 20 players who competed in our monthly
tournament.
After playing for three hours, the winners were announced.
Gigi Samaha accumulated the most points to win the women's
division. Dave Williams, Tony Johnson, and Tom McClure
topped the scoreboard in the men's division. Congratulations
to the winners and many thanks to all participants for
an incredibly fun morning. We will be back for the next
tournament on Saturday,
Aug. 6. Hope to see you

In a recent collaboration
with the Four Seasons
pickleball club, Brent
DeWitt, Shawn Furrer, Scott
Ross and I attended a clinic
with pickleball pro, Dave
Weinbach. If you have never seen Dave compete, you can find
him on YouTube and also watch some of his training videos.
He delivers excellent instruction in a highly entertaining
manner. And, of course, having fun is a top priority!
If you would like to join us on the courts, I will be happy
to teach you the basics of the game at no charge. Paddles,
balls, water and courts are provided. Just bring your tennis
shoes and smiles and meet me there! Call me to schedule a
convenient time to get started. Looking forward to seeing you
on the courts!
