Sun Lakes Follies
It's August and rehearsals are on the way for the Sun Lakes Follies!
President Joanne Graham and members held their last general meeting in July at the South
Clubhouse. And now the fun begins!
Everyone is talking about getting their acts together for our upcoming show Hollywood
Palace. Show dates are Fri., Sept. 30, Sat., Oct. 1 and Sun., Oct. 2 in the Main Clubhouse.
Dates for ticket sales will be announced. They will be sold in the Main Clubhouse lobby
for $15 per person.
This year the Sun Lakes Follies will be presenting singers, dancers, comedians and will
have "commercials" too! Don't miss it. Call Lloyd Friedman for more information at (951)

Chorale
The Chorale of Sun Lakes is open to membership for any Sun Lakes
resident. The Chorale has five sections: Sopranos, Altos, Tenors,
Basses, and Baritones. Practice sessions are held Mondays from
9:30 am to 12:15 pm. Prior to each concert, additional practices for
individual sections are held.
Prospective members are welcome to join us on Aug. 13 for our
annual Chorale potluck picnic from noon to 4 pm in the South
Clubhouse. The Chorale will provide fried chicken. All members
and prospective members are welcome. Please RSVP by Aug. 6 to
Lvieira@eltree.com so we'll know how much chicken we'll need.
We'll also have an old-fashioned sing-a-long and potluck on Sat.,
Sept. 10 at 5:30 pm at the home of Wendy and Desmond Ditchfield,

New members can officially join at our signups on Mon., Sept. 12 in
the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room. Our 2022 Holiday Concert
Series will be held on Fri. and Sat., Dec. 2 and 3 at 7 pm, and Sun., Dec.
4 at 3 pm.
