| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | AUGUST 2022 | 55 Lady Executive Golf Women's Golf Welcome to Lady Executive golfers (LEGS)! We are a 9-hole club on the Executive Course. We play weekly on Tuesday mornings with mixed play, fun scrambles, and a monthly tournament. In addition, we participate with other clubs for 18 hole tournaments and "away" games a few times during the year. From October through June, we meet at 8:30 am with tee times at 9 am. From July to October, we meet at 7:30 am with tee times at 8 am. The third Tuesday of each month is our monthly meeting and lunch at the South Clubhouse. Guests are welcome! We emphasize fun and socializing while striving to improve our game and become more familiar with the rules of golf. We invite you to join us! The Women's Golf Club welcomes all women golfers. Saturday Morning Golf Are you still working and looking for a weekend golf option? Are you interested in sharpening your short game skills? Do you enjoy having a relaxed game of golf? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you may wish to join our Saturday Morning Golf Group. We play on the Executive Course. Our membership includes men and women with a large range of handicaps. Our members share a love of the game. We have shotgun starts. Most of the year, October through June, the check in time is 8:30 am with a 9 am shotgun. In the summer, July through September, the check in time is 8 am with an 8:30 am shotgun. We hold monthly tournaments, an annual Club Championship competition, and quarterly dinners. Membership application forms are available in the North Pro Shop. Annual dues are only $15. Executive Men's Golf World famous golfer George Archer once said, "Golf is like fishing and hunting. What counts is the companionship and fellowship of friends, not what you catch or shoot." This statement epitomizes the Executive Men's Golf Club. We are open to all male Sun Lakes residents who are interested in golf, fun, and camaraderie. All levels of players (beginners to experienced) are welcome. We play every Friday morning on the challenging Executive Course from the gold tees. We have a monthly tournament on the third Friday to challenge your skills against your fellow club members followed by lunch and prize giveaways in the North Clubhouse Multipurpose Room. August is the month for our Club Championship tournament. This is a two day tournament played on Wed., Aug. 17 and Fri., Aug. 19. Flights, pairings, and hole assignments will be assigned by the SLCC Director of Golf based on your SCGA Handicap. We will meet and check in at the North Clubhouse Pro Shop at 8 am for an 8:30 am shotgun tee time. Lunch and quarterly member meeting will follow in the North Clubhouse Multipurpose Room. Come join us! Dues are $56 ($20 for club membership and $36 for your SCGA Membership). Membership forms are available in the North Clubhouse Pro Shop or on the EMGC website.
