In the July issue of Lifestyles, the Pass Action Group placed a flyer
in the packaging of the magazine. We would like to thank the HOA
Board, Lifestyles Committee and everyone from Image Up for this
opportunity.
The support that was received after the placement of this flyer
was incredibly positive. We are confident that every household in
Sun Lakes has been reached and made aware of where we are in the
process. We have received donations from approximately 26 percent
of the households in our community.
We are awaiting the Administrative Record to be compiled by the
City of Banning in our lawsuit against the city and the developers, as
noted in our latest newsletter, Volume II - Issue 2. Newsletters and
more information are available at our revamped website at www.
passactiongroup.org.
Once the Administrative record is complete, our attorneys and
"their" attorneys will meet with Judge Craig Riemer and the next
steps will be outlined. This meeting may be in August 2022.
We are also awaiting the results of the California State Senate vote
on Assembly Bill AB2840, which in its original form, requires a 1,000-
foot buffer zone between warehouses and residences. This may help
our case in the future.
Our goal remains for Judge Riemer to rule in our favor and rescind
the approval that the City of Banning has granted on this project.
This process we will incur additional legal fees and other necessary
expenses. We would like to say an exceptionally large THANK YOU to
all that have supported this FIGHT! ALL current bills are paid, and
we have no current debt.
