12 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | AUGUST 2022 | Expressing Gratitude I was overwhelmed at the outpouring of love from Sun Lakers that I received after Jack's passing. He loved Sun Lakes so much and all of your cards, sweet messages, and contributions in his memory to Table of Plenty were very appreciated. Thank you hardly seems like enough to say about the love and support, but know how much it meant to me. ~ Chloe Sidwell I want to express heartfelt gratitude for the well OVER 100 VOLUNTEERS that gave of their time and effort to put on Charity Week. Thanks to them and to all of those who generously gave donations to support local charities are truly "Shining Lights" of this community. My husband and I feel so fortunate to have found Sun Lakes and discovering just how many wonderfully gracious and giving people we have among us. ~ Brenda Cochran I am so thankful and grateful for Peggy Andrews and Kati Williams for helping and comforting me when I fell outside the South Clubhouse on June 2 and broke my hip. Thank you for all the other extra things you did for me while I was in the hospital. I would like to thank the nice lady that's a RN (sorry, I didn't get your name) that made me comfortable with towels and helped calm me. Thanks to Neva Nelson and Lorna Heins for all you have done for me while I am recovering. Also, thanks to my TOPS friends for all the beautiful cards and phone calls. I'm on my way to a full recovery. This is why living at Sun Lakes is the best. IT'S THE PEOPLE! ~ Rosalee Strong Thankful and grateful for Sun Lakes! I would like to give special kudos to our FABULOUS Jazzercize teacher Renee Marie who is the whole package. ~ The Ellmans Thank you to the four wonderful gentlemen who put out my trash barrels as I can't handle them. I live on upper Wailea Beach Drive. ~ Doris Michaels Thank you to Kara. She and her staff provided a wonderful Fourth of July celebration. Best parade, best car show, and large crowds enjoying our freedom. ~ David Kealey Thank you to the nice woman who so kindly stopped her car on Country Club Drive to help me assist a man who had fallen. She stayed until security came and got him home. Also, thank you to Securitas for their quick response on June 17. ~ Betty Badalamente I'm thankful to the Sun Lakes staff who are working so hard to make our experiences so enjoyable. All are so important both up front and behind the scenes. ~ Donna Baker I'm so thankful for having the opportunity to expand my horizons. Since moving to Sun Lakes in October 2019, I have joined four clubs and have been able to paint, cook, garden and enjoy a host of wonderful entertainment through the Friendship Club. My favorite event was the tea hosted by the Happy Cookers celebrating Mother's Day 2022. Members were served tea sandwiches and petit fours. ~ Jane Roseblade I am grateful for the lifestyle of Sun Lakes along with friends, neighbors, and associates who contribute to the enjoyment of these years of my life. I feel so blessed to live in this great community…it's a good place to call home. ~ Manuel Ramirez We had such a great time at our first Fourth of July parade and car show. Sun Lakes has been very welcoming to us newcomers and we just love this community. ~ Ann-Marie and Eric Hanko
