Reminder: we have 25 sites reserved and I hear lots of people are planning to go, so make sure you sign up quickly. Again, just a reminder that if you do not have an RV you can still join us - there are trailer rentals available in the Pismo area and they will drop off and pick up your rental for you, or there are many hotels in the area if that interests you. W have three Board positions available in the RV Club as your President, Vice President, and Treasurer will be retiring from these and we need YOU! In order for our RV Club to exist, we MUST have these positions filled. Again, happy birthday to all and may you all get lots and lots of very expensive gifts. Summer Bocce is well under way with four weeks left to play, plus the playoffs on Aug. 29 and 30. Before that, however, the Bocce Club is holding a special get together for those who are new to Sun Lakes and/or new to Bocce Ball! We're calling it Bocce 101 Learning. It will be held on Aug. 20 at 6 pm here at the bocce courts on the north side across from the North Clubhouse. But it's not just for newbies to Bocce. We encourage our loyal members to come out and lend their support to those new to the sport. We're hoping some of our members who have fallen by the wayside will come out and enjoy the camaraderie they've been missing. We've been missing them! It's going to be a fun evening so plan to attend. Come enjoy a margarita (donations please), chips and salsa and old and new friends.
