8 | OHCC LIVING | AUGUST 2022 | Summer is in full swing and your Community Image & Marketing Committee continues to work to make OHCC better for you! The Woodchucks made an additional shelf in the Clubhouse information hallway to handle more activity posters. Please be sure to also view our new electronic information board as you pass through that hallway for additional events. Remember that taped signs are not to be put on the Galleria glass doors or windows. Two new permanent chairs, exclusively for the concierge desk in the foyer, should have arrived by the time you read this. It will make the selling of tickets, check-ins for social activities, etc. easier for all our various club activities. The Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary Committee came to our meeting in June to request input on their new interior small bench and new pathway materials. We discussed signage and how to handle educational pamphlets. After review of our new front entrance, the CIMC has recommended two new concrete wok style planters for atop the end posts of our beautiful new front monument. The CIMC worked with the Landscape committee on this project and we all knew in advance it would need "tweaking." We also will be asking for the assistance of our Photography Club for their suggestions and input on replacing the photographs in each of our workout rooms. Finally, we are not alone in welcoming OHCC's new maintenance director, John Manley, and we will be working with him in order to keep our Clubhouse in tip-top shape! We welcome all residents' observations and comments.
