Card Art 101 is a creative card-making class
where you will learn a new technique or two,
have some fun, and enjoy a little fellowship
with others who "sort of " craft. COVID (and
now Monkeypox) is still a worry, so not only do
I design the cards, but I do all the cutting and
stamping so there is no cross-contamination.
Your kit contains everything you need to
complete three cards. With my step-by-step
instructions, you go home with three "perfect"
cards. As always, these cards could be for a
birthday, friendship, thank you, anniversary,
or anything else you desire. I will have all the
stamps to make your cards your own! I bring
samples of the finished cards so you can see my
designs. Here are the cards we made Aug. 4.
We will be meeting in the Arts & Crafts Room
on Sept. 15, which is the third Thursday of the
month at 1 pm for our regular three-card class
and on Sept. 29 to make the "Never Ending
Card." There is no class on Sept. 1 as I will be
on vacation. If this is your first time, the cost is
only $10. Please bring a fast-drying white glue
(I like Tombow) and a small sharp scissors. If
you don't know where to buy Tombow glue or
small sharp scissors, don't worry — I will have
a supply on hand to purchase at cost. I buy in
bulk and pass the savings onto you. Please send
