HIGH NOTES
FROM KARAOKE
What do you think makes life worth living? I've heard it's the
simple things that make life worthwhile. Those words of wisdom
seem especially true when we realize how fortunate most of us are
to have our eyesight. So I got to thinking about the many songs that
are about eyes. It's difficult to narrow a list of songs on the subject
of eyes, but here goes.
1. Jeepers Creepers, Jack Teagarden
2. Brown Eyed Girl, Van Morrison
3. I Only Have Eyes For You, The Flamingos
4. Betty Davis Eyes, Kim Carnes
5. These Eyes, The Guess Who
6. Lying Eyes, The Eagles
7. Green Eyed Lady, Sugarloaf
8. Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain, Willie Nelson
9. Green Eyes, Jimmy Dorsey
10. Smoke Gets In Your Eyes, The Platters
11. Mystic Eyes, Them
12. Don't It Make My Brown Eyes Blue, Crystal Gayle
13. Hungry Eyes, Eric Carmen
14. Can't Take My Eyes Off You, Frankie Valli
15. Doctor My Eyes, Jackson Browne
16. Pretty Blue Eyes, Steve Lawrence
17. Spanish Eyes, Al Martino
18. Eyes Of A New York Woman, B. J. Thomas
19. Pretty Little Angel Eyes, Curtis Lee
20. My Eyes Adored You, Frankie Valli
