The Friendship Club is proud to present a wonderful show on Sun., Sept. 11 in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom. Emily Mitchell Lindbeck, Earl Mitchell, and Kevin Tokarz star in Swinging and Crooning - The Music of Sammy Davis Jr. and Ella Fitzgerald. Lindbeck holds an MFA degree in Musical Theatre and a BA in Musical Theatre. She has performed in European Tours and Cruise Ship Productions, as well as on Broadway (Hairspray). In addition to her love for performance, she has taught several theater courses at the Orange County High School of the Arts (OCSA) and Crafton Hills College, and has directed stage productions at various elementary schools in the Orange County and Los Angeles areas. She will perform with her father, Earl Mitchell, who studied Voice at the College of the Desert and has pleased audiences at the Joslyn Center, the McCallum Open Call, and at various retirement communities throughout the Coachella Valley. Kevin Tokarz is their accompanist. He is a very skilled and experienced pianist who has thrilled audiences for many years throughout Southern California, Las Vegas, Reno, and Lake Tahoe, and overseas. He has played with numerous orchestras and bands, as well as being a solo pianist and solo performer. Sun Lakes residents are invited to join the Friendship Club and be entertained by Vegas-style entertainment up close and personal. Enjoy reduced prices for each of our shows as a member of the Friendship Club. Membership fee is $25 per person for the year that gives you a $5 discount for each show. Tickets for each show are $20 for members, $25 for non-resident guests. Doors open at 6 pm with OPEN SEATING, and the show begins at 7 pm.
