| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | SEPTEMBER 2022 | 5
The Pass Action Group is continuing the
fight against the building of the Banning Point
warehouse project.
Along with the September Lifestyles, you have
received a flyer for our upcoming Town Hall on
Sept. 18 at 5 pm in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom.
One of the primary purposes of this Town Hall
is so that supporters can "Meet YOUR Lawyer."
Kevin Bundy (at left) of the San Francisco law
firm Shute, Mihaly & Weinberger, LLP will be
giving us a video presentation explaining our
case and what to expect in the coming weeks and
months.
The support, including financial support, we
have received from Sun Lakes member/residents
and the surrounding communities has been and
continues to be phenomenal.
The Mayor of Banning, Kyle Pingree, has
resigned, effective Aug. 31. At the time of this
writing, it appears the City Council will be
appointing a replacement for District 2. Sun
Lakes is in District 3. Our attorneys have advised
us that changes in the city government may
help our case. This could be a step in the right
direction. We will keep you posted.
Our website is being updated regularly and can
be accessed at www.passactiongroup.org
