| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | SEPTEMBER 2022 | 27
July and August were busy months for Seasons Quilters. July's
'Let's Eat Cake' Quilt Run was enjoyed by nine of our members on the
21st. The photo of very satisfied diners was taken in River Village,
Bonsall at Café Z. The perfect respite for re-energizing in between
our three choice Quilt Shops.
After 10 years, The International Quilt Show returned to Long
Beach Convention Center Aug. 4 - 6. These stunning creations
speak for themselves, entertaining the imagination that anything is
possible. If you can think it, you can quilt it! Enjoy the photographs
of these beautiful works of art.
Now that we have expanded our hours for creativity to 10 – 4, with
a break to the Bistro, those creative imaginations are flowing. Getting
ready for our next project, patterns and themes are being selected
along with the fun of choosing fabrics. The precise use of paper-
piecing, where points meet straight lines with the accuracy of an
architect's drawing ruler, no other method of applique displays such
precise results. Just as everyone's BoHo Heart Quilts came together
uniquely different, we are excited to see each other's themes for our
Row by Row Quilt.
Seasons Quilters are a diverse group from beginners to seasoned
quilters, with many members bringing with them individual
projects. Sewing together has become time we all look forward to
and we enjoy welcoming new members. We meet the first and third
Thursday in the Arts & Crafts Room from 10 am to 4 pm. For more
information about quilting, activities, fun projects and forming
forever friendships through this wonderful hobby of quilting, stop
by the Craft Room and see what's sewing! We would love to meet you.
All Four Seasons residents are welcome to meetings and excursions.
