Needle Me
The two pictures accompanying this article are the
beginning and end of a project. Colorful socks can
be very fashionable as well as comfortable on the feet.
Merilyn Burnside, an avid knitter, decided to try a
new technique she found for knitting socks. If you're
interested in learning how to knit a cozy pair of socks,
come by and Merilyn would be more than happy to
teach you.
Needle Me is a fun group of ladies who enjoy
working on many different needle crafts, while also
enjoying each other. Some of the ladies have recently
mentioned that they would like to learn or brush up
on crocheting. As they wrap up current projects they
are working on and with cooler weather around the
corner (way around!!), we plan to do some instructing
to help with that.
If you are interested in trying a needlecraft like
crochet, knitting, embroidery, cross stitch, or applique,
or perhaps teach us something new, please stop by
one of our meetings. We meet on the first and fourth
Friday of each month in the Arts & Crafts Room at
