24 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | SEPTEMBER 2022 | Well, COVID threw a wrench in our plans! This variant is so contagious that everywhere we looked someone else had it. Even our July monthly meeting was canceled. So, how could we in good faith still have the Fair in August? Let's outsmart this virus and have it later! Its' coming and we are still excited, especially with the participation of our Garden Club and Quilt Club! Keep your eyes open for a poster to appear with a new date and plan to come on down! There is nothing better than being part of a women's group and spending time with each other. Women support each other during these strange times so come join us on our meeting date. We, (whoever comes), gather for lunch before our meeting. Everyone is welcome. Debbie Foster, (805-406-6581), our president, welcomes telephone calls with any questions about our club. The most asked question is "when do you meet?" We meet the fourth Monday of each month at 2 pm in the Ballroom. All Four Seasons ladies are invited. We had our in-house activity as planned in July. We filled our movie theater to watch Queen Bee, which was delightful. I do believe it was James Caan's last movie before he passed. Francisco made the best omelets but also had goodies, bacon, fruit, potatoes, etc. on the other table for us. All of this fun and we never left Four Seasons! In July we gathered in San Jacinto to see Where the Crawdads Sing. I am a big reader and the book was awesome. The movie altered the timing of the events, but the movie was excellent. We have copies of the book in our library. We donate items to Valley Restart every other month. This month they have requested new bath towels along with cleaning supplies and toiletries. They could use some table lamps as well. Our liaison, Sheryl Cooley, is happy to cart our donations to them. At next month's meeting, we will start thinking about where to have our Christmas luncheon. Yes, Christmas is right around the corner. Oh my… Members of our club can join us on our outings. No guests please. You can be a one- time guest at our monthly meetings. To be a member, you pay your yearly dues and come to our monthly meetings when possible. Until next month, Cookie FS Ladies Club WIT (Women In Touch) These ladies share a common bond – the loss of the love of their life. The dinner meeting and social interaction helps with rekindling old friendships as well as new. The WIT Team gathers once a month in the Ballroom for a dinner meeting. Dinner orders are called into the Bistro between 2 and 4 pm. When they gather at 5 pm, their orders are already being prepared and are ready for delivery to each attendee. We are a support group; this is your invitation to join us and be part of the WIT Team here in Four Seasons. If you have questions regarding WIT, please contact Brenda Beers at (951) 306-6670 or Jeanne Lincoln at (951) 765-7112. Attendees at our August meeting.
