School Days Rock! From Pre-K to PhD, we want to see you as a student! Look for that memorable picture from your albums or yearbooks along with a caption to share with our readers. The deadline is Sept. 7 for entries. Email to FourSeasonsNews@ yahoo.com and if you have any questions, please call Courtney Taylor at (909) 797-3647. 6 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | SEPTEMBER 2022 GENERAL MANAGER'S REPORT By Eric Zarr BOARD OF DIRECTORS DAY TIME Executive Session 9/8 9a General Session 9/8 1p Committee Chairs 9/5 10a SUB-BOARDS Canine Corral Council 9/2 10a Communications Board 8/31, 9/10 10a Technical Operations Board TBD See Daily Report COMMITTEES DAY TIME Architectural Review 9/7, 21 8:30a Community Planning 9/22 9a Emergency Prep (EPC) 9/20 10:30a Facilities 9/14 9a Finance 9/27 1p Landscape 9/19 1p Safety 9/6 10a Social 9/6 1p Meetings STOPPING AT GATES There have been multiple reports over time of owners stopping at the gate to make sure the arms drop down before the next car enters. Please, please, please do not do this. This has almost caused fist-fights in the past and there is no reason to do this. We have cameras at each gate, so if someone comes in and then there is an issue that they could have caused, we can share the video with Beaumont PD as we have done in the past. Please do not put yourself in danger by policing the gate yourself. CROOKED CREEK GATE Please check the website (www. fourseasonsbeaumont.org) or the Daily Report regarding the transponder reader issues at the Crooked Creek gate. DID YOU KNOW that the Board of Directors and FirstService Residential partnered with Park West to work out a plan to address our water restrictions? We were able to explain why the one-size-fits-all watering would not work for us. And it worked! They passed a resolution to allow us to water more and still achieve their recommended restrictions. DID YOU KNOW there is a Safe Driving for Seniors class offered by the CHP, right here in Four Seasons? The next one is Sept. 7, 11 am to 1 pm, in The Lodge Ballroom. The class is free but only 50 spots are available. Sign up in The Lodge lobby. And check your car insurance to see if you are eligible for a discount after taking this course. There will even be tips and tricks for golf carts! SCAMS Scammers are getting better at being able to spoof people with their emails and texts. If you get an email or text claiming to be from your bank or other financial institution, don't click the link, but go to your institution's website directly. SLOW DOWN A reminder I give at each Open Session Board meeting is to slow down. Once you are home behind the gates, speeding or not stopping at stop signs will only "save" you a few seconds of time. Speed limits are 30 mph on the Circle, 25 mph on all side streets and 15 mph in parking lots. Please slow down and drive responsibly. Also please use the sidewalks if you a pedestrian.
