Finance Committee:
Help Us Care About Your Dollars
Our Board of Directors have a job to protect the finances of our
community and in doing so protect our property values and keep
our community looking beautiful. The Finance Committee job is
to support the Board and helps to control the financial stability of
our HOA. A group of your friends and neighbors work together to
make sure we can fund the costs of running our community. We are
responsible to review all expenses for repairs, contracts for all services,
and investments to protect our reserve funds. Not always the most
fun committee but one that really cares about our neighborhood.
I am sure you see the word "finance" and think, "Why would I want
to serve on that committee?" Sounds maybe a little boring and out of
your comfort zone, but there is a need for many different skills and ideas
to work with finance. You do not have to be a CPA or an investment
banker to help the community. We welcome all homeowners; your
service can help ensure the financial success of our Homeowners
Association (HOA). Those who have served on this committee over
the years feel a sense of purpose and pride in the community. PLEASE
