FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | SEPTEMBER 2022 61 Your Four Seasons 8-Ball Club is practicing Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 6:30 to 9 pm. We hold a Club meeting on the first Wednesday of the month, an 8-Ball tournament on the second Wednesday of the month, and a 9-Ball tournament on the fourth Wednesday of the month. We are back on schedule to be playing two additional 8-Ball tournaments each month with Solera Oak Valley (located at 1615 Fairway Drive in Beaumont), one there on the second Monday of the month, and one here on the fourth Monday of the month. The results are in for the month of July as we played two tournaments with Solera Oak Valley. Congratulations to Solera Oak Valley as they won these first two. In the July 8-Ball tournament, Larry Rice went undefeated to meet up with Kim Samuel in the final. Larry got all the breaks and came away the winner. Congratulations to Larry Rice, this month's 8-Ball champion, and Kim Samuel, runner up. In the July 9-Ball tournament, we ran into a "hot" Del Lyles Sr. who looked to take it all, but Del had to drop out. This left Larry Rice to meet up with Doug Strenger in the final match. The match went to the final game where Larry was able to come through with the win. Congratulations to Larry Rice, 9-Ball tournament champion, and Doug Strenger, runner-up. If you're new to the game or have played before, don't be shy; stop by, pick up a stick and give us a try. Walk in and ask for Del, Larry, or any of the members playing. The 8-Ball Club is always looking for new members who would like to learn and play pool to join us. There is a calendar of our events in the Billiards Room on the 8-Ball Club bulletin board. Hope to see you try us out. If you have any questions about your 8-Ball Club, contact one of the officers: Captain Del Lyles, Sr. (951) 845-5114, Co-Captain Larry Rice (951) 236-1156. If no one answers, just leave a message one of us will get back to you. ~ Larry Rice 8-Ball Club Wild Bunch Billiards Curly Cues Billiards Hi everyone.
