Happy Campers RV Club Welcome campers. Happy Campers is open to all Four Season residents. We meet the first Saturday in the Multipurpose Room at The Lodge. Join us at 10 am to hear all the latest news and upcoming trips. The 2022 Pismo trip is now in the books. All fun and shenanigans will be shared in the November article. I can tell you we had 17 RVs joining us Sept. 19. Many members left Hemet between Aug. 30 and Sept. 7 to explore the coast before meeting up with the rest of the group in Pismo. Our Death Valley trip is really starting to take shape and we have 12 rigs signed up. This trip is Oct. 8-17 and will include Death Valley and Pahrump, Ariz. Happy Campers is looking at 2023 with great expectations. Both long and short trips are being talked about. Utah is one that is being looked at with its wonderful Nation Parks. Short trips include Santee Lakes, Tucalota Springs RV, and Pechanga RV. We now have a Facebook page — Happy Campers-Four Seasons. Check it out if you would like to follow our adventures and see more pictures. We are beginning to see summer fade and fall colors sparkle. Now is the perfect time to head east for cool fall weather, pumpkin spice, and of course, those beautiful fall colors. You don't have to travel too far either. October is a great time to head up to Julian to enjoy those apple pies, pick out a Christmas tree or explore old mines. Julian offers several camping options: William Heise County Park, Pine Zanita Park and Campground, Banner recreation Ranch, Cuyamaca State Pary, Green Vally Falls State Park, just to name a few. Our favorite one is KQ Ranch; however, it is a private park. All are very close to town and filled with trees and wonderful mountain breezes. Don't own an RV? Rent one and join the fun.
