| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | OCTOBER 2022 | 27 Every season is exciting for quilters, and fall through Christmas is especially inspiring. With so many fun and decorative projects to choose from for the holidays, a quilter is never without creativity or adrenaline fueling the need to finish that special project just in time. September was such a month as ideas circulated among this diverse group of quilt enthusiasts for what to create for the holidays. Pictured above are three magnificent quilts illustrating such diversity. Lilian Togo, (pictured with her quilt) displays how contrast plays a significant role when planning a project. Adding the art of embellishment creates both dimension and pizzazz to any project, but especially to these two unique designs by Diane Best. Our lunch breaks to the Bistro are now an exciting part of our time together and the picture above speaks volumes. In addition to being blessed to reside in a wonderful community, having our very own watering hole right down the hall makes for the perfect day together. Sept. 15 was no exception as we celebrated the birthday of our very own leader, Diane Best, with cake, laughter, and hoopla! Happy birthday, Diane! We wish you many more.
