Golf Cart Club
The "dog days" of July and August are finally behind us. The Flag
Angels were at it for Labor Day. They put out and took down flags in
record heat. They continue to do amazing things for the community.
As I mentioned in last month's article, the Flag Angels' roster continues
to undergo changes. I was able to fill the remaining two slots: Bill and
Mary Swinney and Cookie and Scotty Scott. Thanks! I continue to be
impressed with the residents' willingness to step forward. It's nice to have
such enthusiastic volunteers to step up on short notice.
Mark your calendar: the Halloween Golf Cart will be Sunday, Oct. 30
at 6:30 pm. So, decorate those carts and show up in front of The Lodge at
6:30 pm. This parade is very popular and a lot of fun. Come join us for
a good time!
