28 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | OCTOBER 2022 Finance Committee During the Finance Committee's August meeting, the financial statements for July 2022 were reviewed and recommended for Board approval. In addition, the Committee reviewed eight expenditure proposals, and reviewed investment recommendations to move maturing investments to higher yield FDIC insured instruments. Highlights of the July financial statement are: Total Cash is $11,529,809 including operating cash of $2,254,056 (checking and CDs) and reserve assets of $9,275,753. We are at a total year-to-date net income of $176,188. We are starting work on the budget process to determine what our homeowner fees for 2023 will need to be to continue to maintain our beautiful community. Homeowners are welcome to join us at the Finance Committee's regularly scheduled monthly meetings held on the last Tuesday of each month. Our next meeting will be Tuesday, Oct. 25 at 1 pm. I would encourage all residents to become more familiar with the finances of our fantastic community. We would love to hear about your concerns and encourage you to share them with us as we work through the budgeting process. Attending a meeting only takes a little time and will give you a better understanding of how we operate. Come and join us in maintaining this thriving, vibrant community. Please check your Daily Report for meeting location. ~ Jolene Cooley, joleneaudit@gmail.com Social Committee I'm so happy that everyone enjoyed the outstanding performance by Bethany Owens. Our next event will be an improv show. The Spolin Players Improv Troupe delivers a performance as imaginative and unpredictable as you're going to see. They're a very funny group of veteran performers who have a bag of tricks that goes deep. If there is one thing they know, it's how to get a laugh! Mark your calendars for Oct. 29 at 6 pm. Doors open at 5:15 pm. Tickets are on sale now for $25 per person at The Lodge front desk. Table seating is first come first serve. We will have coffee and water plus some sort of sweets. There will be three raffle baskets so bring extra cash to help support fundraising for our next event. Don't miss this show… we hope to see everyone. Remember, it's never too late to have fun — come play with us! Thank you so much for supporting our Social Committee, we truly appreciate every one of you. ~ Loretta Ramsey, lorettaramsey@aol.com, (714) 803-6744
