FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | OCTOBER 2022 43 WOW! September saw our best Cars & Coffee event to date. The hot weather did not deter the owners of over 45 cars, trucks and 4x4s from showing up. For this gathering, we did something different… the car enthusiasts who showed up were able to feast on grilled hot dogs and breakfast sausages, chips, donuts, and quenched their thirst with mimosas. We had a special showing of about 10 bitchin-looking cars from the Sun Lakes' car club "Cruzin' Cronies." This event received countless thumbs up and accolades from many of our attendees from Four Seasons and Sun Lakes. This event could not have been as successful without the assistance of the following individuals: Al Gray grilled the hot dogs and sausages; Pam Morales and Juli Pellegrene prepared and served the thirst-quenching mimosas and organized the event; and the great sounds were provided by Paul Carracino. A huge THANK YOU goes out to these hard-working and selfless individuals. Because this event was a huge success, the Cruzin Cronies from Sun Lakes wishes to hold one of their own and invite our members. I will coordinate with their president and pass the word to you. Stay tuned. We had several first-time attendees. Rocky and Lisa Shaw showed up in their striking, classy-looking 2019 white Porsche Cayman. Rocky and Lisa have owned their Porsche for one month and have lived in Four Seasons for four years. Todd and Denise Treacy made a head-turning entrance with their gorgeous silver 2022 Corvette C8. Todd and Denise ordered their 'Vette in January of 2020 and took delivery in February 2022. They have lived in Four Seasons for two years. The planning of our Four Seasons Veterans Car Show scheduled for Nov. 12 is going great. There are registration forms at The Lodge. Remember, they MUST BE TURNED IN BY OCT. 3.
